FAQ

Can it recover a completely white sky?

No. If every color channel is clipped to 255, the original sky information is absent. The tool can improve tones around the clipped area only.

Why not use a simple brightness slider?

Uniform darkening also crushes useful midtones. Smart Auto detects overexposure and applies a stronger curve mainly to the highlight range.

Does my portrait leave the browser?

No. The image stays on your device throughout processing and download.
