MINIMUM ACCESS BY DESIGN
Your store remains under your control.
- Read-only: the beta cannot place orders, edit listings, change inventory or contact customers.
- No identity fields: it does not request customer names, email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses.
- Encrypted connection: Shopify access tokens are encrypted at rest and all traffic uses HTTPS.
- Purpose limited: operational data is retrieved only to provide the authenticated merchant dashboard.

Can it find every open order containing a SKU or barcode?
Not yet. Shopify's native Product filter and saved order views can cover known products. We are validating whether a faster read-only SKU or barcode lookup deserves to be the first new SellerPilot module.
Will it automatically release fulfillment holds?
No. Holds can have different reasons, locations and inventory conditions. The first safe step is an exception list that shows what needs review; any future action must be narrow and explicitly approved.
Why start with read-only access?
Visibility is easier to verify and safer to trust. SellerPilot first proves that the right orders and inventory risks are visible before asking a merchant to automate a decision.
